Cause Description:
SWC is a non-profit community based organization founded in 1977 as a crisis hotline for battered women. Since then we have grown into a comprehensive agency that provides shelter, counseling, support services and more to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and incest in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. In addition we strive to educate so as to change the fundamental beliefs and practices that allow abuse to continue.
