Cause Description:
We are pro-choice because of our faith! The Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice Educational Fund brings the moral power of religious communities to ensure reproductive choice through education and advocacy. The Religious Coalition seeks to give clear voice to the reproductive issues of people of color, those living in poverty, and other underserved populations. The Religious Coalition's twenty-three affiliates in twenty states work tirelessly to mobilize religious pro-choice advocacy. We also maintain a national register of pro-choice clergy of many faiths-a key to local organizing and media visibility work. Local activists multiply the effectiveness of our work, by meeting with the local media, writing letters to the editor of local papers, lobbying state legislatures, and speaking before local groups.
