Cause Description:
Hoosier Spinal Cord Research: Northwest Indiana Chapter of the Spinal Cord Society, a large grass roots organization, linked by over 200 chapters in 24 countries. Its goal is cure of spinal cord injury paralysis. Its members include the spinal cord injured, their families and friends, and dedicated scientists and physicians who are aiming at our ultimate goal through improved treatment and research. Our local chapter currently organizes annual charitable sporting events for the able-bodied, the proceeds from which will assist in the funding of goal-directed cure research.
