Purpose: The mission of the Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC, Inc.), and its fifteen affiliate corporations and partnerships, is to assist families and individuals move toward economic self-sufficiency and reduce their dependence on public support through innovative approaches to a continuum of programs including: provision of professional case management services, life skills training, employment training, provision of social services, housing rehabilitation and community development. Origin: The CAADC, Inc. was established in 1979 as Delaware County, Pennsylvania’s designated anti-poverty agency. Track Record: In 1999, the CAADC, Inc. provided nearly 91,00 units of service to individuals and families in Delaware County facing a bevy of difficult problems.
