Cause Description:
A religious community of 103 women dedicated to Christian education and outreach to the poor, serving God's people in Westchester, Putnam and the Bronx. Additionally, in Orange county, three Sisters work with farm workers and their families; in Dutches county, two Sisters serve the rural poor. Sisters administer and teach in schools in Westchester & the Bronx, conduct a retreat center & a counseling center in White Plains, & serve the elderly poor in Washingtom Heights. They also care for their own elderly & infirm Sisters at Good Counsel Infirmary in White Plains, NY. Contributions would help the Sisters keep all of these services flourishing and undertake new ones.
