Cause Description:
LPP provides support services to youth, grades 5-12 in 15 Central New York school districts. These services support these children who are at risk of dropping or failing out of school. OUr goal is to assist these children so they complete high school and pursue secondary education goals. Presently we serve 350 children in both urban and rural school districts. Activities range from academic tutoring and mentoring to an infusion of arts and cultural activities. Children participate in community service days as well as specialized program to build assets in their journey to becoming productive adults.
