Cause Description:
Since 1917, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music has been preparing students from the United States and around the world for professional careers in music. The Collegiate Division enrolls approximately 250 students each year who pursue bachelor's and master's degrees in music. Our Preparatory Division offers classroom, ensemble and private instrumental and vocal instruction for over 550 young people annually, ages 4-18, after school, on Saturdays and during the summer; and an Adult Extension Division provides evening classes and private instruction for adults. The Conservatory presents nearly 400 concerts annually on campus and another 250 performances throughout the community.
