Operation K.I.D. (Keeping Ill children Dreaming) pairs children with volunteers whom are in high school or college based on interests and future aspirations. Children battling life threatening illnesses are faced with such a difficult present that they forget about their dreams for the future. Operation K.I.D. encourages those dreams to not only resurface, but to grow and develop as time passes, regardless of medical barriers.
