Gentle Spirit Horses is a rescue and sanctuary for horses based out of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Forest City, Iowa. As a family, we've done private rescue for several years prior to incorporating as a non-profit incorporation in South Dakota in 2010. We are a 501(c)(3) Public Charity, effective date May 15, 2013. Our tax id number is 27-4282458. Our mission is to provide assistance to neglected, abused and unwanted horses, and through outreach and education, promote responsible horse ownership.
