San Diego County Canine Association
Chula Vista, California
The San Diego County Canine Association was created to provide a comfortable retirement for the law enforcement canines who have served the communities within the County of San Diego. We are completely run by volunteers to ensure all proceeds collected are directed explicitly towards the goals of the Association.
Our primary goal is to cover any medical expenses the handlers may incur with the retired canine up to $2,000.00 annually. Additionally, we help the handler by providing a financial offset of $350.00 annually for the canine's food.
Our secondary goal, when funds are available, is to assist the canine units in San Diego County with obtaining better and up to date training to better utilize the canines in the law enforcement environment.
