Great Pyrenees Rescue of Missouri

Galloway, New Jersey

Cause Description:
Great Pyrenees are wonderful family pets, LGD's, companions, Service Dogs for the Impaired, lovers of children, protectors, Guardians and oh so many more wonderful things. They are also horribly abused, abadoned, neglected, thrown into shelters when a person gets one and does not understand the breed, shot by farmers for wandering on their property...I could go on. To a dog or any living, breathing being, being homeless, unloved, misunderstood...is a terrible place to be. This is why Linda Meuer and her husband Ken Meuer have started on this momentous journey. They want to save as many Great Pyrenees as they can. They understand they can not save them all, but they are trying their best to create a safe environment and home setting while the dogs are on their transition journey to their Forever Home..and to save as many as they can.
