Cause Description:
Sisters in Pink, Inc. (SIP), is a group of women, all volunteers, raising awareness and being a voice for destitute girls in Asia. We are achieving our goals by partnering with existing non-profit (non-government) organizations in Asia. The organizations receiving support have proven effectiveness in helping girls overcome poverty, abuse, illiteracy, exploitation, and neglect. SIP’s activities include: advocating on behalf of the girls; raising awareness of their plight via social media; and fundraising to financially support the Asian organizations. Sisters in Pink encourages volunteers to visit the supported organizations and provide meaningful assistance to them. Sisters in Pink provides resources and counseling for these non-profit organizations. Sisters in Pink raises awareness to this generation by publishing the organizations’ needs and successes.
