Cause Description:
CFB is a network of volunteers, Churches, and service oganizations committed to serving low-income children of Oakland by providing food for hungry children. CFB collects kid friendly food items from various sources, including individual donations, the Alameda County Community Food Bank, and specials from local grocery stores and warehouse clubs, assembles them into bags and delivers them to 25 different elementary schools in Oakland. The school officials make sure that the children take their bag home for the weekend.
