Nestled along the Atlantic coast in Juno Beach, Florida, Loggerhead Marinelife Center is a nonprofit sea turtle hospital and ocean conservation hub dedicated to sea turtle and ocean conservation. The Center educates over 300,000 guests every year free of charge. The Center is also adjacent to one of the most densely-nested loggerhead sea turtle beaches in the world, providing staff biologists with 9.5 miles of beach to monitor and research endangered sea turtles. LMC’s campus features a world-class sea turtle hospital that treats over 100 sea turtle patients every year, several aquariums teeming with native marine life, hands-on exhibits, an interactive learning center and viewable sea turtle recovery tanks, which temporarily hold the Center’s sea turtle patients. Loggerhead Marinelife Center also provides over 35 public and educational environmental programs to students of all ages and continues to increase its global presence through innovative conservation projects and partnerships. After all, we believe the sea turtle tells us the health of the ocean, and the ocean tells us the health of the planet.
