Cause Description:
The Central California Valley's First Alzheimer’s Day Care Resource Center Since 1983, adults with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias have joined a professionally trained and caring staff in a safe, supportive homelike environment called OASIS (Older Adult Social Services). OASIS is well known in Fresno and Madera County as a provider of dynamic programs to support families involved in helping a loved one remain active, safe, happy – and living at home for as long as possible. The three licensed Adult Day Centers offer safe and affordable services for frail and disabled older adults who need assistance taking care of themselves. Caregiver Support Groups and our Guest House (overnight and weekend respite) are available to our Adult Day members allowing additional support, education and respite time for their caregivers.
