SAVES, Inc. (Spay Alter Vaccinate Every Stray) is an all-volunteer humane feline rescue group with roots firmly established on the North Fork of Long Island. The area served by the organization includes the townships of Southold and Riverhead. SAVES does not own or operate a shelter and does not have any full time employees. SAVES promotes and practices Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) of felines, as well as the spaying and neutering of socialized cats before adoption.
