Cause Description:
I have been searching for my mission since I was 14 years old. I was told I would administrate many businesses or many ministries. I was given a Clarion call. A defining moment on Sunday February 05, 2017. I attend Sun Valley in Tempe. The sermon was What am I here for. The answer was "To know GOD and HIS Son JESUS CHRIST. To help others to know GOD and HIS Son JESUS CHRIST" John 17:3 The practical application is having volunteers taking "The Landing" from Saddleback Church and time to serve teenagers that are at risk. The Volunteers will work at two locations once they are trained and background checks are complete. One is the Juvenile Detention Center in Mesa. Another to be disclosed later. Working with youth in the juvenile system and in the foster kid system. Twice a week once to provide “The Landing” Program along with dinner. And the second is dinner and getting to know the boys and girls. Help with their homework. This is going to be funded completely through Private funds. 6 Volunteers per location plus a person providing praise and worship on the night "The Landing" is provided. The funds will help cover some of their costs and assistance as needed.
