Cause Description:
The mission of the Ocean Gate First Aid Squad is to offer care, nurture, and assistance to the injured, sick, wounded, disabled and aged persons by providing emergency first aid treatment and safe transportation to hospitals and or other designated facilities for advanced medical treatment and care. Our purpose and objective is to answer emergency calls from a person or persons in need, and to operate a volunteer ambulance service for the Borough of Ocean Gate and the surrounding communities, as a non-profit organization. We strive to educate school-age youth, organizations and the community on safety awareness, healthy lifestyles, first aid and disaster preparedness, and in doing so, foster a sense of community commitment and pride.
