Cause Description:
To assist in supporting the activities of the American Society of Civil Engineers Student Chapter at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. The objective of our ASCE Student Chapter is to help students prepare themselves for activities such as community service projects, the concrete canoe construction/competition, technical paper presentations, steel bridge construction/competitions, field trips, and networking. These events provide valuable experiences for the WVUIT students to begin to master principles and techniques not normally taught in the classroom. However, these activities are strictly supported by the fundraising efforts of our chapter members.
