Cause Description:
Our Community Resource Center seeks to serve the underprivileged youth and young adults in the Fairfield community through providing opportunities to help them gain support and build sustainable futures. We offer job and basic life skills training, support groups, counsel, educational assistance, literacy classes, GED, drivers education, and community service projects to young adults struggling to break the cycle of poverty and maximize their potential during the first half of the day. Our center focuses on youth ages 5-13 through an after-school program that extends services such as mentors, arts, literacy intervention, tutoring, choir, community partnerships, social and spiritual sharing, and service. We aim to meet the needs of the community by connecting families and individuals with tools, guidance, confidence, love, and the resources to help them reach goals and achieve new heights.
