Started by Randy Kakumei and a few others in early 2015, the Helping Hands movement was created with one goal in mind: unifying the community of St Tammany Parish, Louisiana and working together for a better future. The group discussed the issues holding people back from realizing that dream such as homelessness, hunger, poverty, joblessness, medical problems, disabilities, etc. The group realized the only way to change this was to enact a plan to address ALL these difficult issues. Change the world by changing one person’s circumstances at a time.
