The mission of the House Rabbit Society - Washington State Chapter is to rescue abandoned rabbits and find permanent homes for them and to educate the public and assist humane societies, through publications on rabbit care, phone consultation and classes upon request. The HRS is an all-volunteer run organization which has expanded its rescue efforts to include abandoned small rodents and ferrets.
