16th Street Theater NFP

Berwyn, Illinois

Cause Description:
16th Street Theater exists to give voice to ALL in our community. Diversity is the key: diversity in voices, diversity in tone and style, diversity in theme/point of view. Each play we present poses relevant questions of identity and living in today’s America. 16th Street was founded to be a theater of engagement. Our audiences are invited to experience not only their own stories, but to experience their neighbors’ stories and stories of “the other.” We are committed to keeping our work timely, accessible and affordable so that ALL in our community have access to artistically excellent professional theater.
