The Santa Cruz Children’s Museum of Discovery, an independent 501c3 nonprofit located in the Capitola Mall, aims to delight, inspire and challenge children by providing an exciting and interactive learning environment. The 8,000 square foot museum’s hands-on interactive exhibits bring learning to life by showcasing the wonders of Santa Cruz county: the place where the ocean meets the redwoods, where technology meets recreation, where agriculture meets health. With six themed areas, a space for learning-based classes and workshops, plus workshop space for our partner, Learning to Discover, the museum is poised to become a space where families and kids can play, explore, tinker, and get an expanded sense of their own community and the world around them.
