Cause Description:
the Poor International (HPI) is a 501c (3) organization whose initiatives convenes both global leaders and ordinary citizens to create and implement innovative solutions to the world's most pressing challenges. HPI embodies a mission of working with the poor and oppressed to promote human transformation by providing educational facilities, health and other social amenities to create literacy awareness and self-sufficiency. In this wise, the organization is currently working on scholarship program to meet the needs of underprivileged in USA. The goal of this scholarship is to improve literacy as students dropout rate increases due to tuition increase, self-sufficiency and subsequent economic growth. Currently, we offer partial tuition scholarships of about $7500 with a goal of reaching 250 students in USA and $100 to international students with hopes of reaching about 500 students annually. HPI can only achieve its goals with the assistance of generous donations from members of our community. Without these donations, serving those in our area would not be possible. Since our organization relies on the generosity of individuals and corporations/organizations like you, we write to ask you to consider a donation to our cause.
