Kingwood Women’s Club, a 501(c)(3) organization, was founded in 1985 in Kingwood, Texas, a suburb of Houston, with the goal of providing volunteers to perform service through various community organizations. KWC, which now has over 140 active members, has exceeded its original goal and has been able to add generous donations to local organizations as part of its community service. Since its inception, more than $1.1M has been donated to philanthropies in the Kingwood, Humble, & Porter, Texas area.
