Cause Description:
Lavina Coleman,with Down Syndrome, had a massive stroke at camp, leaving her unresponsive on the left side and fluid on the brain, July 8th, 2014; Currently at Mercy, Springfiel, MO. Lavina is currently in need of a "comfy" helmet as direct result from surgery to protect her head. Medicaid supplies "bottom line" quality, thus she is having issues and causing her additional stress. Family is hoping to move Lavina in a re-hab hospital closer to home, thus cutting travel expenses. Lavina has a long road to recovery and needs financial assistance
