Cause Description:
The 360° Project dogs helping youth come full circle. We use the H.E.A.L. principle which stands for: Heart - Youth will learn and practice empathy, patience, and perseverance. Education - Educate youth through adult mentoring and the therapeutic effects of working with neglected and abused animals. Achievement - Train our youth to navigate future challenges through independent thought, social responsibility, cooperation, and humane education. Leadership - Youth will be challenged to become leaders to both the animals they train, and to fellow students. At-risk youth will learn many skills...not only dog training, but also academic skills and personal skills such as empathy, patience, perseverance, teamwork, and respect for both animals and people.At-risk dogs will learn basic obedience (and fun tricks) that will make them more adoptable.
