Opportunity International strives to reach the world's poorest people through its microenterprise development programs. Our mission is to provide opportunities for people in chronic poverty to transform their lives by creating jobs, stimulating small businesses and strengthening communities among the poor. We work through indigenous microfinance organizations that provide small business loans (a hand up, not a hand out), training and counsel, with emphasis on spiritual well being. We are motivated by Christ's call to serve the poor.
