Cause Description:
Mission Dignity offers career information, training and internships, and college selection and admissions support to young people in San Francisco's Mission District. Young people hold leadership roles and act as peer mentors while receiving ongoing training in leadership, service learning, communication and team building skills. We will be opening a new youth-led interactive College and Career Education Resource Center in Spring 2002, working in partnership with local high schools, the Department of Human Services, community organizations, community colleges, local businesses, private corporations and career professionals to empower youth as leaders in their own community and to address the educational gap within the Mission District. All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated.
