Teatown Lake Reservation is a 1,000 acre nature preserve and education center located in the heart of Westchester County, New York. Our mission is to inspire our community to lifelong environmental stewardship. Teatown features 15 miles of marked hiking trails and Wildflower Island, a unique two-acre sanctuary which is home to over 200 native and endangered species of wildflowers. Our environmental education programs reach approximately 20,000 children, adults and school classes each year, and our animals include small mammals, reptiles, amphibians and unreleaseable, permanently injured raptors (birds of prey).
