The vision of Louisiana Film Academy of Technology is to offer premier training and start-up vehicle for persons who desire to enter the film industry with qualifications and experiences that will render them the capacity to perform with promise and distinction. At its core, Louisiana Film Academy of Technology Foundation works to prepare individuals for lucrative jobs as crew persons in the film industry so that they can survive and thrive in the industry. It is our belief that this training is best obtained from experienced crew professionals who know how to share their years of knowledge and experience. We establish and maintain state-of-the-art industry equipment and technology that enrich the learning experiences of our students. LFAT believes that it should also be inspired by its students and encourage their ongoing communication with the school. The realities of their professional journeys after their LFAT training informs us of the adequacy of their LFAT preparation and inspires our training to continuously evolve as it responds to real life job requirements in the film
