America for Animals is a San Diego-based 501(c)3 nonprofit (45-4971076) that seeks to empower animal advocates to become active in their communities and to create awareness about animal welfare concerns worldwide. We are building state-of-the-art web and mobile applications (“apps”) to help advocates connect, organize, participate, and, most importantly, make a difference in the lives of animals. These new technologies hold tremendous potential for doing good. We see cities that are full of animal advocates who have no outlet for their passion; of groundbreaking animal welfare organizations that no one has even heard of; of horrible animal abuse that remains hidden from concerned citizens. Through well-designed and easy-to-use web and mobile apps, we believe we can change this reality. We are headquartered in San Diego, but work with highly skilled volunteers around the world. America for Animals also holds free, volunteer-led spay/neuter clinics in an effort to help control the cat and dog population.
