Island Paws Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to promote the welfare of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. Our Mission is to save the lives of stray dogs and cats through spay, neuter, adoption and educational programs. Description Island Paws Rescue, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to promote the welfare of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens. We will raise money to ensure the following is our top priority. • Maintain an adoption center and rescue shelter that takes in unwanted animals. • Provide for adoptions of healthy animals at a reasonable cost. • Educate the people in the humane treatment and care of animals. In particular, we would like to have an education program that visits school children with a classroom presentation runs several times a year and publish articles in local literature. • Attempt to reduce the population of stray animals through education and by providing spay and neuter surgery. To provide and maintain a clinic that will provide a safe environment for all surgeries with a licensed Vet on staff.
