(Copied from the "About SFAC" web page:) The Suburban Fine Arts Center is a not-for-profit organization serving north and northwest suburban Chicago communities for more than 35 years. Currently we offer over 70 classes plus special and weekend workshops taught by professional artists who help tots to seniors develop their skill, imagination and appreciation for art. Our monthly gallery exhibits are at the forefront of contemporary art and have featured hundreds of renowned artists. In addition, we supplement art programs in schools, offer alternatives for latchkey children and provide practical skills for those entering art-related fields. Whats more, our scholarship programs may assist you in class tuition assistance. Our Artists' Resource Center provides information on current art events and business opportunities as well as helpful periodicals.
