The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Through job preparation and employment retention programs and services, Dress for Success offers opportunities to disadvantaged women seeking to emerge from poverty  promoting economic security and self-sufficiency. Incorporated in 1997 in New York City, Dress for Success has served more than 300,000 women since its inception, operates in 80 cities in four countries and reaches more than 45,000 disadvantaged women across the globe every year.
