Cause Description:
Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter operates as a "quality of life" shelter. The shelter takes in approximately 350 cats and dogs per year. All adult animals are spayed and neutered prior to being made available for adoption. In addition, all animals receive all necessary shots, wormings and other medical treatments. All would-be adoptive families are carefully screened before being allowed to take home any pet. In this way each adopted animal is assured of a good and loving home.
