Caring For All (CFA), is a 501 c (3) Charity located 6000 Bass Lake Rd Suite 106 Crystal, Minnesota 55429. CFA is aware that hunger is not just a concern for communities in developing nations but also in Minnesota. The recent economic crisis has resulted in increased unemployment and a resultant increase in family homelessness and hunger. As a result many Americans and children are brought face to face with the struggles of not just hunger, but the effects that hunger has, especially on children. Delays in cognitive, social, and emotional development and various mental health issues are just a few of the problems with long term effects that can result from hunger. Join CFA fight against hunger, it is all in your hands! This is few fun/ great ways YOU can help CFA fight hunger and feed the community. Food & Fund Drives for CFA AUCTION/ RAFFLE • Hold a raffle for an executive parking spot for a day or free lunch. • Everyone loves an auction, especially if the prizes are fun. Auction extra days off or the chance to throw a cream-pie at the boss's face! COMMUNICATION • Post flyers around the office. • Can you attach materials to paychecks? • Can you put something in your office mission statment or newsletter? • Keep your coworkers focused on the mission – ending hunger through community partnerships or support. COMMPATITION • Food sculpture contest – Teams build sculptures out of their donated food products. • Hold a contest between working groups. The largest donation amount by a floor or department wins everyone an extra personal day, volunteer at CFA day Or, if you can find another office outside your company to compete against, the real fun begins. SALES • Jeans Day – Anyone donating a certain amount of Food or Funds can wear their Wranglers to the office. • Hold a bake sale, ice cream sale, or root beer float sale. Or a book sale, craft sale or plant sale. GAME/FUN • Sponsor a carnival – Three words: Executive dunk tank. • Collect your weight in food – Calculate the total weight of your group and challenge yourselves to raise an equivalent amount in food donations! Or, for folks looking to drop a few pounds, challenge each person to donate a dollar or a pound of food for each pound they lose. • Declare a tacky costumes/nostalgic fashions day – people can either pay to dress up or for the right not to dress up. PARTY/ WEDDING • Ask guests to bring food donations to your wedding reception, party or make a donation. 1.
