Cause Description:
WCRC welcomes all women touched by cancer. WCRC is a grassroots non-profit organization. Our programs include telephone information, referral and support, a lending library, a quarterly newsletter, support groups, Cancer Guides, body work and massage, and outreach to women of color for breast and cervical cancer screenings. We work in alliance with other women's and health organizations on a local and national level. WCRC is part of a larger movement committed to challenging discrimination that exists in the various cancer establishments and to empower women to be active and informed in the healing process. We advocate for primary prevention through healing the environment.
