Cause Description:
We are just a couple of folks that wanted to make a difference in the world. We love animals and realized that thousands were being put down everyday while people buy from pet stores and breeders, searching for that perfect dog. We found some perfect dogs and hope we can help you do the same. SWEETPUPS was born in 2010 after a stray doggie Animal Control named "Anne" was captured. She had run for many months on the streets, hungry and dirty with no hair left at all. When she was finally cornered and caught, she breathed a sigh of relief and fell into the AC officer's arms. She gave birth to 5 beautiful puppies shortly afterward. That little doggie not only stole our hearts but blessed five waiting homes with the love of a pup. It was then that SWEETPUPS was born. To date, we have assisted in the placement of over 400 dogs and the number changes daily. We wish to thank all our fans for supporting us in the fledgling stages of the rescue group and a special thanks to Linda and Brian from our local animal control. Without them, I would not have known where to begin. We are now incorporated, have a board of directors AND are a 501(c)(3) registered charity. Your donation is tax deductible!
