The Pacific NW Chapter of TRIO dedicates itself to: AWARENESS Promoting organ, tissue and bone marrow donation as an important social responsibility. SUPPORT Providing support to transplant candidates, recipients, donors, and their families to help alleviate the stresses and challenges associated with the transplant process. EDUCATION Providing the general public, including civic groups, schools, churches, transplant with current information about organ, tissue, bone marrow donation process, concerns and issues transplantation, medications, and finances. ADVOCACY Making known to federal, state, and local governing bodies the needs and concerns that affect the welfare of transplant candidates, recipients, donors, and their families.
