Domestic Violence Initiative serving women, men and children with disabilities (DVI) is dedicated to the survival and safety of Colorado’s people with disabilities and their children who are victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, caregiver abuse, elder abuse and stalking. They have access to advocacy, information, support and safety planning here at DVI. DVI has been helping people with disabilities overcome domestic violence, sexual assault, caregiver abuse, elder abuse and other crimes since 1985. We do this through comprehensive case management, client advocacy and collaborative community outreach. DVI provides all crime victims with disabilities and their children with empowering tools for self-sufficiency that support safe and fulfilling lives free of violence and abuse. At DVI, services are provided for people with disabilities by people with disabilities.
