Cause Description:
The Central Indiana Youth Sports Organization (CIYSO), a non-profit organization seeks to make the sports experience safe, fun and healthy for ALL children. The mission of this organization is to provide funding and equipment to athletic programs at both the youth and high school levels. In addition, CIYSO promotes the value and importance of sports and physical activity in the emotional, physical, social and mental development of youth. The CIYSO will also provide funding to low-income families to allow for an equal opportunity for these children to participate in sports. The Organization believes that participation in sports and activities develops important life skills through positive interaction and will provide a healthier life. CIYSO believes that with proper facilities, equipment and positive coaching young athletes will enjoy playing more.
