Earthfire creates the opportunity for life-changing interaction between humans and wildlife. We provide a home for animals that are not capable of living in the wild, and a safe place for humans to meet them. These encounters create a deep transformative sense of the connection between us and the larger community of life. This is the Earthfire Experience. Our unique model of ecological advocacy begins with a personal awakening and leads to a renewed commitment to protect the planetary systems on which all life depends. Grounded in the language of the heart, leading to a visceral understanding that life connects us, the Earthfire Experience creates both inward and outward change. Visitors at the sanctuary and online become ambassadors for a new way to relate to nature. Our work holds the potential to fundamentally change the way we think and act towards the environment and all living beings, enriching us, enlarging our sense of community, and leading to a more sustainable future.
