The Homeless Emergency Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3)charitable organization, a homeless shelter whose mission is to provide homeless and very low-income individuals and families with housing and supportive services necessary to obtain self-sufficiency and improved quality of life. Located in the Greenwod Area of Clearwater, for the past 30 years we continue to serve individuals and families throughout Pinellas County. The scope of services provided include emergency, transitional and permanent housing for single adults and families,including those with mental and physical disabilities, Veteran's Assistance Program,Free Dental Clinic, Meals and Food Baskets, Clothing, Mental Health Counseling, Case Management Services, Literacy & Life Skills Training, Job Training, Job Referrals and Transportation
