Cause Description:
In 2009 Jody Aker and her aunt, Roberta Baker, founded Crops of Luv. This is a non-profit, 501c charity. The mission of Crops of Luv is to create memory scrapbooks for families of critically-ill children (Make-a-Wish, Dream Connection, etc. recipients). Volunteers create scrapbooks of the family trip and then give the book to the family as a keepsake. All efforts in creating these scrapbooks are from volunteer supporters. All donations to Crops of Luv go to purchasing supplies (scrapbook albums, papers, embellishments, etc.) and also to the cost of mailing the finished scrapbooks to the families. Crops of Luv is proud to partner with other organizations such as Give Kids the World in Kissamee, FL. This is a very worthwhile cause and brings much joy to the families.
