PuppyLand a Non-Profit organization incorporated under the State Department of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (US Territory). We Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome abandoned, abused, and homeless puppies and their mothers from the streets and beaches of the island of Puerto Rico. PuppyLand works with the assistance of veterinarians, practiced in rescue medicine, in the rehabilitation of its temporary residents who are nursed back to health with extremely limited finances. Once rehabilitated, we work endlessly to find them homes in the mainland USA. PuppyLand survives strictly on donations and sponsorships. We are all volunteers and none of us are paid for the work we do. All of the money donated to our cause goes straight to the dogs in our care and helps to cover our costs which include dog food, supplies, vet care, medical supplies and transport. Every foster dog that comes into our program is dewormed, vaccinated, heartworm tested, and treated for any pre-existing conditions that they might come in with. We often get dogs requiring major medical procedures such as knee surgery, hip surgery, emergency lifesaving procedures, and more.
