The mission of Shelby Shelter Non-Profit is in its name. Shelby means "a place where willows grow". The willow tree is the symbol of healing and new life. Shelby Shelter hopes to provide just that to animals in need. Our goal is to save and find permanent homes to animals of all sizes. Our community outreach program and initiatives are designed to help animals. Support Includes: 1) Finding temporary homes for animals to prevent them from ending up in a pro-euthanasia shelter 2) Rescue animals from pro-euthanasia shelters 3) Rescue strays 4) Provide health care to the sick
