Cause Description:
The Scotland County Humane Society is a non-profit organization which depends on donations to remain solvent. The care and well being of dogs and cats in our community is the main focus of the volunteers and staff. The Scotland County Humane Society is dedicated to the stewardship of abandoned, lost, abused, impounded and surrendered animals in our community. Because of the extremely large volume of animals we take in each month, we are not afforded the luxury to safely place most, but for however long they are with us, they are treated with compassionate care and have a clean, warm place to stay.
