Cause Description:
A Wish with Wings grants the Wish of a lifetime for Texas children stricken by life-threatening diseases such as cancer, AIDS, leukemia,& cystic fibrosis. This organization was established in 1982, and granted it's first Wish on October 15, 1983. Since that time well over 750 youngsters have seen the fulfillment of their most cherished Wishes. a Wish with Wings can & does make smiles and laughter magically appear in the lives of catastrophically ill boys & girls. This is currently the ONLY such organization operating in the state of TX that is approved by, & a member of, the Association of Wish Granting Organizations. This association requires members to adhere to strict guidelines in areas such as fiscal responsibility, donor ethics, and fund raising. No member of this association is permitted to conduct paid telemarketing.
